Morton Consulting Welcomes Director of Marketing

Morton Consulting, your trusted IT staffing partner delivering exceptional results, is pleased to welcome Margaret L. Taylor as its Director of Marketing, a newly created position. In this role, Margaret will focus on developing a marketing strategy to increase visibility and brand awareness for Morton Consulting.

“I’m thrilled with the opportunity to return to my marketing roots and create new strategies for continued success,” Margaret shared.

Margaret comes to Morton Consulting with over 12 years in the Richmond workforce, with both for-profit and not-for-profit experience. Most recently, she worked as Director of Programs & Development at RVATECH – Richmond’s Technology Council, a member-driven association of businesses and organizations working together to ensure the continued growth of central Virginia’s dynamic technology-based economy. While there, Margaret increased engagement within its membership, and played a significant role in the market awareness and financial growth of the organization.

Margaret’s prior roles include Director of Programs & Alumni Relations with Lead Virginia, the statewide leadership program; Marketing Coordinator with Weinstein Properties; and Assistant Account Executive with Alder & Associates (formerly, Boisseau Partners). She plans to combine her marketing and advertising experience with her non-profit management knowledge to showcase Morton Consulting as the IT community’s trusted staffing partner to connect the right talent to the technology workforce.

Margaret is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She completed the Walt Disney World College Program in 2005 and is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond. Margaret resides in Richmond with her husband and two young sons.
