This upcoming Friday May 9th, Morton Consulting is participating in the 20th annual Virginia Home for Boys and Girls Skeet Shoot as a sponsor. The Skeet Shoot will be hosted by the Conservation Park in Charles City, Virginia where teams will compete in both Skeet and Trap. I’ve attended this event the past two years and can tell you from personal experience that it’s a fun time, a great team building event, and an awesome opportunity to give back to a great cause.
Morton Consulting believes that giving back to the community is a social responsibility that we have as a business in the Richmond, Virginia marketplace. In many cases, there are others that aren’t as fortunate as we are so giving back, volunteering, and taking time away from the daily grind to serve others is critically important. Mark Morton, President and CEO at Morton Consulting, started volunteering at the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls 15 years ago and for the past 5 years, Morton Consulting has been one of their premier partners. The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls is an organization that believes all children deserve the opportunity to grow up in a loving, nurturing, and safe family environment which is critical in every child’s ability to live a successful life.
There are still openings for teams so if you have interest in giving back to a great cause please visit www.vhbg.org to register online. There will be Range Safety Instruction, Shooting Instruction, Two Flights of Competitors, and a Reception / Awards Ceremony. This is definitely an event worth checking especially for those looking for something creative to do with clients or their internal teams.
The entire internal team at Morton Consulting will be volunteering at this event so please feel free to come out and see us at Conservation Park. Don’t worry, we are always committed to our customers so if you need to connect with us, please call the office at 804-290-4272 and we’ll make sure you connect with the team member you need.
Good luck out there to all the teams participating!
