Morton Named One of Country’s Fastest-Growing Companies


Morton – an IT staffing company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia – has been included on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the country, Inc. announced. Numbered at 4,413, this is Morton’s fourth time on the list since 2010. The Richmond-based firm has also previously appeared on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies.

Over the past two years, Morton’s operations have increased by 43 percent, its internal staff size has grown by more than 170 percent, and its consultant staff has seen an increase of 70 percent.

“We are excited about the growth we’ve had at Morton and expect it to continue,” said Mark Morton, the company’s Founder and President. “Anticipating the needs of our industry, we are investing internally to ensure we can sustain our growth trend and continue to be a good partner for our employees and customers.”

The company is continuing to expand its presence in Virginia, with a footprint in the Hampton Roads and Roanoke regions. It is also beginning to explore the Raleigh, North Carolina market for continued expansion.

Morton recently announced it will be moving its headquarters to Scott’s Addition this fall.
